We (Corktrans) have been made known that the Dep. of Social Protection has set up an advisory group, so that the Minister for Social Protection through this group "Gender Recognition Advisory Group" can advise the Minsiter on legislation required to recognise the accquired gender of transsexual persons in Ireland. The group would like to draw attention to the public to a consultation document on the departments website, www.welfare.ie which provides further information on this topic. To...
